Who is Ubuntu Food ?
‘Ubuntu’, an ancient African philosophy rooted in our connection with one another and nature. In its simplest translation “I am, because we are”.
Dining with us doesn't start in the kitchen, but in the soil, on the farm and out at sea. Our passion is our community; the source of our food, the people we work with to put our feasts together, and those who choose to take a seat at our table.
Inspired by Chef Imke’s South African upbringing around the fire and our love for working with nature's rhythm, our Come Bye fireside feasting menus will feature the best in season produce, as well as vibrant ferments and preserves from our pantry.
