About the event

Local chef, recipe writer and food developer, Roo Hasan is back again, for not one, but two Guest Chef Evening’s in January to give you a better opportunity of joining after her debut sell-out.

Roo draws inspiration from her mixed Indian/ British heritage, as well as discovered tastes, flavours and techniques from her travels. These inspirations come together in a celebration for good food, excellent produce and an exuberance for feasting.

Join us for a 5 course menu as Roo leans into the depths of winter to present a menu that represents indulgent comfort. Step into the candlelit warmth of one of our cosy, renovated barns, as Roo brings you dishes that will warm your soul. Focussed on supporting local producers and suppliers, Roo will compose a menu that best showcases the fields, rivers and hills that surround us.

This menu will be showcasing meat, fish and will contain dairy. On this occasion, we are unable to cater for specific dietary needs. Stay tuned for plant based evenings coming your way in 2024.

Dietary Requirements:

This meal will be showcasing meat, fish and dairy. We are sorry but for this specific evening will not be able to cater for specific dietary requirements. We will be having plant based evenings later in 2024 though, so stay tuned. 

Timings:

Please arrive at 18:30 so we can be seated ready to eat at 19:00. The meal will finish around 23:00 - 23:30. 

Drinks:

We have some great natural wines to sell on the night as well as local beer and cider. We are now charging a one off corkage fee of £10 per person to bring your own drinks.
